THE HISTORY OF CSC
CSC is the next chapter of what was formerly known as the Cleveland School of Cannabis—one of the first dedicated cannabis education institutions in the country.
For years, the Cleveland School of Cannabis operated a 12,750 sq. ft. training facility, hosted industry events, created hands-on learning experiences, and graduated over 1,000 students across cultivation, processing, and dispensary programs.
As the legal cannabis landscape evolved, so did the challenges. Complex regulations, shifting requirements, and the lack of access to federal funding made it difficult for any brick-and-mortar cannabis school to grow at scale. Despite strong demand and a passionate community, the physical campus ultimately closed its doors in 2024.
In early 2025, new ownership stepped in with a new vision: make high-quality cannabis education more accessible, more affordable, and available to anyone, anywhere.
Today, CSC carries the legacy forward as a modern, fully virtual institution—soon to be renamed Continental School of Cannabis. While the “Cleveland” name served its purpose in the school’s early years, CSC now represents a broader mission: to deliver accredited, career-ready cannabis education nationwide.
This evolution allows us to provide the same trusted curriculum, the same commitment to quality, and the same passion for student success—now backed by a more flexible, more inclusive, and more scalable model built for the future of cannabis education.
